Tami Selvig M.S., LPC
Tami is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience serving individuals and families in our community. She began her career at the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, where she supported youth and adults impacted by trauma, including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. In recent years, she has worked as a school counselor, helping middle school students and their families navigate life’s challenges, while also providing meaningful support to fellow educators.
Tami’s areas of special interest include trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ support, school advocacy, and strengthening parent/teen relationships. She also has a passion for supporting women through the transitions of motherhood and addressing women’s health issues. Tami is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. She walks alongside her clients with empathy and care as they move toward healing and personal growth.
Originally from a rural farming community in Minnesota, Tami now calls Fargo home. She and her husband are proud parents of three daughters. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
